Coffee and Mince Pie Morning at Freedom Fostering

Join us here at Freedom Fostering HQ for a chat and a catch up with the team, whilst you enjoy a relaxing cup of tea/coffee or squash with a festive mince pie.

Come and take a load off your feet before starting on your Christmas shopping in Wolverhampton city centre.  We have lots of parking available, and always love to see our carers around this time of year.

Join us at Freedom HQ as we open our doors to host our foster carers during our monthly Foster Carer Coffee and mince pie Morning this December.

Forget the visit to Costa or Starbucks, and instead indulge in a get-together with your fellow foster carers.

Who’s invited?

This is an exclusive event for our foster carers to enable them to build a support network, relax and enjoy some time away from the stresses of childcare.  We’ve specifically booked it for during school hours to enable foster carers to have some ‘adult me-time’.

We understand some foster carers have pre-school aged children who are welcome to join us; regrettably we will not have any staff on hand to assist in childcare during the coffee morning and attending children remain the responsibility of the attending foster carer.

What should I expect?

Food and drink on offer will include a complimentary selection of the below:

• Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit teas, juices
• Mince Pies (suited the the festive season)

If you have any dietary restrictions or considerations we should know about, please contact the office, with at least 48 hours notice.

Where can I park?

Limited parking is available at the rear of Freedom HQ.  Street parking is available on Clarence Road and Waterloo Road (subject to charges).

Do you have someone in your network who is interested in fostering?

We encourage each of our foster carers to bring someone to our Foster Carer Coffee Morning if they are interested in fostering.

Foster Carer Referral Scheme

As a Freedom Fostering foster carer, we have a generous referral scheme in place that rewards our foster carers for each person they recommend and are successfully placed with our fostering agency.  Interested to know more? Join us at our Foster Carer Coffee Morning and the staff will be on hand to answer all of your questions and give out referral cards.
