Enjoy an afternoon of playing games and winning prizes featuring fun characters like Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, various superheroes and princess too! There will be a 20 minute interval for food and drinks (provided in a buffet style at your table) and the rest of the time will be for fun and games.

Family Friendly Walk

Explore the beautiful Benthall Woods whilst keeping your eyes peeled for interesting creatures, dragons, flora and fauna, and enjoy a summer picnic together.

  • Under 2’s are free
  • Bring lunch & drinks for the picnic
  • Please wear suitable outdoor play clothes and footwear
  • NOT suitable for pushchairs due to uneven terrain

Summer Drama in the Forest

Sign up to this special drama workshop for 6 to 12 year olds to build their confidence and explore their interest in drama. The performance will be a fairy tale in the forest theme, and will be able to contribute sound effects using their own or the theatre company’s musical instruments which will help them more vividly communicate the group’s story. The children will receive bespoke coaching throughout the experience. There will be 5 days in total for this workshop, and your children must attend every session. They will have to bring their own packed lunch, but squash and healthy snacks will be available on the day.

Family Friendly Walk at Loamhole Dingle

Join the Ironbridge Community Centre to go on a family friendly walk through Loamhole Dingle, where you can build a den, and look out for interesting creatures, flora, and fauna. You will need to:

  • Bring a snack
  • Wear suitable outdoor footwear and play clothes
  • Under 2’s are free
  • Not suitable for pushchairs due to uneven terrain

Date and time: Wednesday 3rd August, 10am – 12pm. Location: Coalbrookdale & Ironbridge Community Centre, 2 Wellington Road, Coalbrookdale, TF8 7DX. Price: £3.

You can do this event again with additional activities like pond dipping, learning how to use nets, ID Sheets, trays and magnifying glasses on 17th August.

Family Friendly Walk at Haywood

Another family friendly walk at Severn Gorge, but this time exploring the flora and fauna at Haywood! This time you will create clay creatures and prints of all the cool flowers and plants you’ll find.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny

Peter and his naughty cousin Benjamin know very well that they are not to go into Mr McGregor’s garden, but they cannot resist and soon they find themselves in all sorts of scrapes, caught in a net, trapped by a snarling cat and face to face with Mr McGregor himself! How will they ever escape?
