The Addams Family Performance

Mini Foresters Club
Middle Spernal Farm hosts a monthly forests club for youngsters who love being out in the woodlands. Every month there are new activities to try out that reflect the current season. Your children can learn about the flora and fauna, the history of the area, and learn how to build a den and a fire, where they can toast some marshmallows.
Date and time: Starts on the first Saturday of every month, from 2-4pm. Price: £5.
B’Opera Relaxed Concert for Babies
“A musical celebration of Festivals of Light for you and your little ones to enjoy with B’Opera. You’ll listen to beautiful music by the likes of Handel, Dvorak, Debussy, Wolf, Jerry Bock, Gilbert and Sullivan, Beethoven, Thea Musgrave, and many more. Expect musical fireworks and maybe a pumpkin or two!”

Highclare School Bonfire Night
Highclare School will be hosting their very own bonfire night show, with 3 different fireworks displays! Each display will be shown at different times in the evening to allow children of all age groups to participate in the event. Hot food, treats and sweets will be available for you to purchase on the night.

Birmingham’s German Christmas Market
Birmingham’s annual German Christmas Market is back again this year! “The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria, Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market offers a large range of traditional good and gifts and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, schnitzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your taste buds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbeer (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate.”
Date and time: From Thursday 3rd November to Friday 23rd December. From 8:30am – 8:00pm.

Open Evening at WMG Academy
WMG Academy in Solihull is a college for young people who are interested in taking on a career in STEM. Their open evening is for families of all ages to come and try out some super fun activities such as:
- Explosive experiments
- Virtual reality
- Drones
- 3D printing
- Robots
- Electric cars
- Explore their facilities
- Take a selfie with a Jaguar car
- And much more!

Christmas Wreath Making Workshop
Get into the festive spirit by making your own Christmas wreaths using fresh materials taken from Newlands Bishop Farm. Materials and tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own materials if you have something special you’d like to include! If you would prefer, you can also bring your own gloves and apron. Drinks and cake will be available at the café.
Date and time: Saturday 26th November at 10am – 12pm. Price: £35.

Outdoor Pizza Making
Learn how to make pizza dough, choose your toppings and hand craft your own pizza, in the wonderful outdoor cooking space at Wood Cutters Bar and Grill Cookery School. The ultimate in alfresco family dining, sit and eat it in the woods or overlooking the pond.
Date and time: Saturday 12th November at 2-4pm. Price: Adults are £15, children are £7.50.
Wildlife Walk
Visit Queen Elizabeth Hospital for a weekly wildlife walk every Wednesday morning. The group spends their time discovering the large diversity of wildlife, including a variety of different birds, butterflies, moths and other insects. When you get back to the community grow space you can then spend a couple of hours gardening, growing and tending to the beautiful fruits and vegetables.
