The National Memorial Arboretum
Children aged between 6 months – 5 years will enjoy some sensory play and activities at The National Memorial Arboretum. Alongside sensory play there will be a storytelling session, featuring lots of different colours, sounds, textures and other elements fit for their monthly theme.

Bring your children to the Arboretum to try out Augmented Reality with their iPads! Join the characters Blu, Kit and Sam on a journey to learn about the diverse communities and friendship of countries that take part in the Commonwealth Games. The Commonwealth ARboretum is part of the Landscapes of Life exhibition, which is an introduction to the concept of Remembrance and why it is important. The exhibition features audio visual displays, hands-on interactive displays, artistic interpretation and more.

Gather round the whole family for a super exciting outdoor escape challenge! In the challenge you will need to solve cryptic puzzles and discover the stories behind some of the memorials dedicated to communities from across the Commonwealth. You will need to do whatever it takes to find out who has stolen the Commonwealth medals, and which city in the Midlands have they been hidden in?
