Carnival Family Disco

Join Dawley Town Hall for a super fun family disco! Get your boogie on with your family dancing to all the hits. Refreshments will be able to purchase on the night.

Encanto Outdoor Cinema Experience

Visit Attingham Park Estate with your blankets and camping chairs for this magical outdoor cinema experience to see Disney’s Encanto. “The Madrigals are an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift — every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.” Before the film starts there will be a collection of curated songs from the soundtrack to listen to.

Activities at Ironbridge

Animal Tales

Explore Ironbridge’s many connections with animals, from cats and dogs to monkeys and elephants, with their new Animal Tales trail. The trail will introduce you to some of the most unusual animals to have visited the gorge, and guide you through some of the most stunning animal themed items in the collection.

A menagerie of animal silhouettes will be on display on the Coalbrookdale Green, where you and your pet can pose for a photo in the GIANT picture frame. Head for a walk along one of the dog friendly routes or pop in to the Furnace Kitchen with your four-legged friend. Take part in themed activities as you follow the trail, following the bespoke trail guides from the museum.

Make A Clay Animal

Why not try and make your own animal out of clay? There will be instructors in the session who can help you design your favourite animal out of clay. All materials and tools are provided and there is no need to book for these sessions. This activity is free to PASS and PASS PLUS ticket holders, charges apply for other visitors (payable on arrival). These workshops are suitable for all ages.

Awful Auntie

Awful Auntie by David Walliams, adapted for the outdoor stage by Heartbreak Productions, is a truly thrilling tale. Owls, ghosts, chases, escapes, motorcycle rides, and tiddlywinks all fill Stella’s days as she evades her menacing Aunt and saves the family home. So, come and see the dedication of the new playground at Saxby Hall and hear how it all came about. Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear, and a picnic, as the tale could take some time to tell, and storytelling can be hungry work!

Oliver! Performance

Visit Theatre Severn to see Lionel Bart’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. “The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance amongst a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft that he did not commit, the benevolent victim, Mr. Brownlow takes him in. Fearing the safety of his hideout, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back, threatening Oliver’s chances of discovering the true love of a family.”
