In 2021 The Fostering Network introduced their first State of the Nation’s Foster Care survey for fostering services to compliment their existing survey for foster carers. This will ensure the survey is as representative as possible of the fostering sector and also offers fostering services the opportunity to benchmark their own findings against national responses.
Their latest State of the Nation’s Foster Care Survey launched across the UK on 5 May 2021 and closes on 11 July 2021.
Their State of the Nation’s Foster Care survey is the most comprehensive survey within the fostering community and the survey findings are used to inform and influence the foster care agenda at a local and national level.
This year, for the first time, they are also surveying fostering service members to collect further evidence about fostering to help make foster care the best it can be.
If you are a foster carer, don’t miss out on the chance to have your say.
Take the survey
They need as many foster carers and fostering services to complete the survey to ensure it is representative of fostering in 2021.
You can also read their last State of the Nation report published in 2019 and their Impact Report 2020 which shows how they used the findings to implement positive change in the world of fostering.
