Christmas Family Event
Start the Christmas celebrations early by visiting Hagley Community Centre for a day filled with entertainment. Visit Santa and his elves in his magical igloo grotto, meet and greet some special characters, take part in various activities and games, get your boogie on in a kids disco, bounce happily in the bouncy castles, shop at lots of stalls, have your face painted, try out riding on a donkey, and enjoy some hot and cold food and drinks!

Wolverhampton Art Gallery Events
Art Play
Take your babies and toddlers to Wolverhampton Art Gallery for a fun and friendly sensory play session. The session is led by a local artist and early years educator, who will help to inspire creativity in your little ones.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year
The annual wildlife photographer of the year exhibition will be opening at Wolverhampton Art Gallery this year, featuring exceptional images which capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breath-taking diversity of the natural world.
“The winning images, including the prestigious Grand Title Award winners, will be announced on 11 October 2022 during a glittering awards show hosted by wildlife presenter and conservationist Chris Packham at the Natural History Museum.”

Birthplace Bookworms
The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum are holding a fortnightly reading club for 7-11 year olds. The children will be able to read stories out loud to the rest of the group, and try out some activities related to the books they are reading.
Date and time: Fortnightly from the 5th November, 10:30 am – 11:40am. Price: One child is £3.50, additional children are £2.50.
Forest Fun Days
Bring your family along to explore the woods of the Kingswood Trust site where you will be given a map to help you find your way, and your child will be given a brand new nature passport to complete on your visit. Stop by Woody’s Snack Stop to enjoy some delicious hot and cold food.

Peter Pan Performance
“The legend of Peter Pan has been delighting children for over 100 years and this faithful new version is a festive adventure, perfect for the whole family. Spectacular Fireworks Show
Join the Wolverhampton Racecourse for their spectacular fireworks show where there will be two displays for you to enjoy! The first show will be at an earlier time in the evening for the children to watch, whilst the second display will be later in the evening. There will also be a family friendly fair to visit, live music to listen to, and lots of food stalls and bars.
Date and time: Saturday 5th November, 4pm the car park and gates open, 6:30pm the children’s display starts, 8:30pm the main display starts, 9pm the event finishes. Price: Tickets start at £5, with under 3s going FREE.

Diwali Utsav – Sitaron Ke Sang
“Jaivant Patel Dance presents an evening of South Asian Dance. Sitaron Ke Sang: a radiant brightness the stars illuminate in their togetherness, which refers to Diwali, more popularly known as the Indian festival of lights.
Arena Theatre Associate Artist, Jaivant Patel Dance once again presents a vibrant evening of South Asian Dance featuring Bollywood, Kathak, Bharatanatyam to Bhangaraand Dandiya Raas, in Celebration of Diwali.
Diwali celebrates the joyous commencement of the New Year. It marks the start of new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. This globally celebrated festival is a time when families and friends come together for good will, feasting, fireworks, and dancing.”
