Charity Cricket Match

Healthcare Heroes from both The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (ROH) and Birmingham Community Healthcare Trust (BCHC) are competing in the 2022 charity cricket match on 4th September! The event will be raising money to support NHS patients across the Midlands to help make a real difference to patient care. Teams from each Trust will be competing for the greatly desired Charity Trophy! There will be lots of family activities for you to get involved in such as:

  • Face and body painting
  • Yummy desserts and other street food
  • Rock painting
  • Craft activities
  • Raffle
  • Tombola
  • Garden games

Prizes for the raffle and tombola include dining vouchers, hotel stays and shopping vouchers.

Date and time: 4th September, 11am – 4pm. Price: £2 per adult, £1 per child. Under 4s go free. £5 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children).

Gazebo Summer Fun (HAF)

Join Bilston C of E School for tons of summer activities! You can try out:

Cycling Summer Programme

With the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Times Trials coming to Wolverhampton’s West Park on August 4th, there will be a programme of cycling activities for all including:

  • Learn to Ride – (For beginners or those who cannot ride a bike)
  • Bike Fix Events – (Where they check your bike and make minor repairs on the spot for FREE)
  • Led Rides (Group cycling events)

Date and time: 3rd & 17th September at 10am. Price: FREE.

The Labyrinth Challenge

Visit the Wolverhampton Racecourse to take on The Labyrinth Challenge! Take on their 1000ft long obstacle course with lots of challenges within. For people under 1.2m you can try out the massive inflatable themed castle called The Realm, which features 650ft of obstacles, slides and challenges.

If that’s not enough you can also see a circus show, enjoy the funfair rides, inflatable attractions, food and drink and much more!

Forest Fun Days

Explore the woods at Kingswood Trust with your family and friends, and enjoy some refreshments at Woody’s Snack Stop. You will be given a map and booklet to follow to help you as you walk around the park. Whilst you sit down and have a cuppa and a slice of cake, your children can run around and play in their adventure areas.

Date and time: 6th, 13th, 20th September, 10am – 1pm. Price: Tickets start at £5.

Bouncy Castle Explosion (HAF)

Do your children love bouncing around on bouncy castles? Join in on this drop-in event where your kids can bounce around happily on 2 bouncy castles.

Date and time: 1st September, 10am – 2pm. Price: FREE with HAF codes. To book: Email Age: 5-18.

Dinosaur World Live

Dare to experience the dangers and delights of Dinosaur World Live in this roarsome interactive show for all the family. Grab your compass and join the fearless explorer across uncharted territories to discover a pre-historic world of astonishing (and remarkably life-like) dinosaurs. Meet a host of impressive creatures, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, Giraffatitan, Microraptor and Segnosaurus! After the show you will be able to take part in a special meet and greet with all of the brave explorers you saw in the show.

Date and time: 1st & 2nd September at 2pm, 3rd at 11am and 2pm. Price: Tickets start at £10.50.
